Ok so i seen this game ....thought about it and this is 100% a cash grab seems to me the only way to summon a Dev is to say the game is "DEAD" WITCH IT IS i have tried countless times to gain fans but u cannot ......the game is broken i also want to point out i really and mean i REALLY WANTED TO LIKE THIS GAME.....but its a broken pile of dog crap just like in my front lawn its worthless and pointless updates are not coming they post those to get people to still buy the game it will never be fixed ( btw to the devs this is your review on steam, really pisses me off when you sell a game and dont intend to fix what is wrong with it. if your not going to support the game anymore then dont sell it, IT IS DEAD JUST END IT AND STOP GETTING PEOPLE TO BUY IT!!!!). In short: Party Hard Tycoon looks and sounds nice but the experience lacks in depth.If you enjoyed the Party Hard aesthetic, crab it from the Christmas sale.Your goal is to manage and set up profitable and likeable parties. You begin with a few available themes, locations and some money and you unlock more of them as you level up. From time to time you get an additional party goal from a random character. These random goals were the most interesting part of the gameplay for me since they bring purpose to the otherwise grindy gameplay. But... the way that the goals are set up is frustrating. I found myself more than once accepting a goal/mission without having the required theme or location, because it was not clearly indicated in the mission statement that I needed it. And since the next party that you set up should reach the given goal, it is impossible to reach it. I think there's a story to be found in the random character appearances but for me it was lost in the frustration and uniform thickness of the gameplay. It's entertaining for a few hours but does not hold up for a long gameplay.. The game is currently broken. I hope that they fix it soon otherwise it's a waste of money. You lose followers quickly and lose no matter the type of party you thrown.. I was hesitant to buy this game when I saw the number of poor reviews (the majority of which seem to be before the march update), but I recently purchased it on sale for a couple of bucks and I have been greatly enjoying it. The graphics are simplistic and old school, but that doesn't bug me as I'm more into the tycoon gameplay aspect than cutting edge graphics. And, although there are some kinks to be worked out, overall as a _tycoon_ game I would judge it to be pretty good for the price I purchased it at. I've certainly gotten some fun out of it. There should definitely be more of a tutorial or guide though, as some important aspects of management are just discovered along the way and might be missed by some players. And some of the "quests" are unclear and use words that don't match up with item names. For example, one quest called for a "fog machine" - this ended up being the "smoke cannon" found under the equipment tab of some themes. The inventories are different between different themes, but this can sometimes be a handicap - like getting a quest where you have to place an object that isn't available for the theme you picked, and not being able to go back and choose a different theme once you reach that point. Even when not on sale, I feel the price is perfectly reasonable considering the amount of play I've gotten out of the game. I'm hoping there will be further updates to fix some of the aforementioned issues and perhaps expand a bit, but it is also fully playable and enjoyable as is.. NOT WORTH BUYING!This game is absolute trash, it lacks on nearly every point. A shame to name it a tycoon...Bad AI, bad gameplay, bad music, no worth parts to call it any tycoon game!. Welcome to Party Tycoon, the game where you pay a janitor $300 to stand in the bathroom and watch people sh!t on the floor in front of vacant toilet stalls, not cleaning it up for a minimum of 45 seconds even if you manually tell him to stand in the sh!t.The game where if you exit, all your progress will be randomized and most of your stuff will be lost because there is no save function despite this being a ~20hr gameThe game where none of your decisions beyond item placement have any consequences.Thank Raptor Jesus it's early access, I have hope for the devs, this game has so much potential, but it's currently pretty broken.But hey! They just added some new costumes! Priorities, right? smdh. I love this game, and would love to see it come out of early access and get that polish it deserves.
